We played 3 courses with Legacy being the favorite. The greens were good and the ball ran true. The fairways were good but the ruff was a little too deep. Most tee boxes were good but a few need more grass.

Course is in awful condition when it comes to fairways. There was hardly any grass anywhere in the fairways. They said they were struggling with drought conditions. Based on the condition of the course it should not be open and it certainly shouldn't be on a golf package like the group I was with!!!! Greens were just average. I've played this course before and it was nice and fun....this time it was just AWFUL.

One of the favorites in the Sandhills

4 stars.
Pretty enjoyable course. Good layout. Some unnatural looking holes around man made ponds. Something missing on image of this operation. Seems to be cutting corners. Course in great shape. Would play again.

Very nice course and great layout. The greens have always rolled nice since they replaced them a few years ago but never really held shots that well. They aerated them a few weeks ago and now they hold shots and putt nice and smooth and FAST.

Haven't played for a few years, yet there does not seem to be much different. Maybe a few more fairway sand bunkers but overall pretty enjoyable track.

I played Legacy in mid December 2011. They were having a charity event for the month - $25 greens fees if you brought a donation.

I hadn't played the course in two years. The new bermuda greens are great! A little hard and plenty fast, but they are in good shape and roll true. I plan to play there more often in the future. A great layout. Perhaps some of the comments regarding the condition of the course were prior to the greens being converted to bermuda grass.

Awesome to play. Greens were hard but roll good.
