This lovely 18-hole course opened in 1901 along the White River northwest of downtown Indianapolis. All marketing hype aside, this really is a gorgeous (and popular) parkland-style course. Riverside is owned by the City of Indianapolis and is currently managed by MAN Golf Management Inc., who also operate the course web site.
Standard peak-season adult walking rates are $18 Mondays through Thursdays and $20 Fridays, weekends, and holidays (carts are $15). Twilight, senior, and off-season specials are available.
A block or so away from the course is the Riverside Golf Academy, which includes a range and par-3 course.

Nothing that special about this course and it's not a very difficult course, but it is usually not too expensive and the staff is friendly.
14 features a large uphill approach and 18 is a short par 3 to a green that is 30ft below the tee. The 18th tee is also notable for the turf tee box that is probably not welcome by most golfers. I'm not sure why the course decided to put that in.

said they were open and let me pay to go out. To my surprise the course was flooded! They did give me a refund, but did not replace the three balls i lost in the middle of the fairway because they were in to deep of water to get. IN THE FAIRWAY!

A nice little course near downtown Indy. It's a bit overpriced and in a flood plain, but the holes are well kept and it makes for a nice day.
