Great scenery but really really hard fairways that need some water .also seems like people working there are just going through the motions, not very friendly

This is really a great golf course the only downfall is that at times it feels like a big business just trying to every penny they can from you

Best public golf course in the Capital District.
(My Ratings out of 5)
Value: 2 Expensive on weekend mornings. Almost $60. Must take a cart before 10:30am.
Pace of Play: 3. Usually pretty good but gets backed upon on holes 14, 15 & 17.
Maintenance: 4. One of the best maintained public courses in the Albany area.
Hospitality: 4. Friendly staff. Also, the restaurant has great service and food.
Scenery: 5. Beautiful setting.

I love this course, but the pace of play on the weekend was the worst I have ever seen.
