Located on the eastern tip of Long Island, Montauk Downs State Park is best known for its Robert Trent Jones, Sr.-designed 18-hole course. Only gave 4 stars as there is no perfect course. This is one of my favorite courses, period. The employees are pleasant, the holes are challenging, and the scenery is appealing. Watch out when the wind starts to blow.
