Lochmor Golf Course
County Route 104
Loch Sheldrake, NY 12759, United States
Loch Sheldrake, NY 12759, United States
914)434-9079
Lochmor Golf Course, is the sister course to Tarry Brae. Lochmor is a great layout that you may find a bit more forgiving off the fairways. This course, however, will challenge you around the greens with well protected greens and tricky breaks.
Lochmor's back nine runs along side Moringside Lake, providing you with awesome views while you test your golfing skills. Also on the back nine, you will find one of the hardest par 4's in the Catskills (number 17.)

I loved the layout of this course, it was high handicapper friendly with wide fairways, light rough, and medium size greens, but challenging with green sized bunkers and drop-offs if you go to long on approaches. Dog-legs were slicer friendly. Greens and tee boxes were not pristine as might be expected for a muni, but quite playable. Water comes into play on several holes.
