Played HVR for the first time in several years last week. The course is in deplorable condition. 1,3 and 9 all have temporary greens. The fairways are overgrown and it made it difficult to find your ball. Played the back 9 twice to get 18 in. It is a shame, use to be one of my favorite courses. I will not be back.

Played a tournament here. Some of the greens were in horrible shape on the front nine. Terrific views, but your back is too them, especially on the ninth hole (a par 3). Course designer must have been a rookie. It s a mountain course with a couple of holes with elevated tee boxes that where you have to hit across a ravine and have an uphill approach shot.
