Heatherwood Golf Club is an 18 hole executive course located in Centereach, New York near Long Islands beautiful north shore. Don't be fooled by the moniker of executive course. What this course lacks in length, it more than makes up for with its rolling terrain, tight tee and approach shots and tricky greens. Our course can be an enjoyable afternoon for the casual golfer, as well as an unexpected challenge for the avid player. Heatherwood Golf Club, which opened in 1965, is open to the public 7 days a week, year round.

I added a star for Hospitality because every round comes with a free beer after in the lounge. Here's the deal with this short course...its great practice for your irons. You only have to use the driver on 3-4 holes. For $30 bucks and 3 hours rate of play, its worth it.
