Created by legendary golfer and world-renowned golf course architect Jack Nicklaus, Mansion Ridge is carved out of the mature forests and rolling hills of a 220 acre estate. It is the only Jack Nicklaus Signature Course open to the public in New York State. The spectacular 18-hole championship course features stunning rock formations, extreme elevation changes, and spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. Designed to test shot-making skills, this layout will challenge you to negotiate a variety of wetland areas, bunkers, and of course, all the subtle features you would expect from the "Golden Bear."

This 6,889-yard, par 72 course reflects Jack’s meticulous attention to detail and his demand for excellence. Jack’s signature means he walked every fairway, landing area and green to ensure that they meet his unyielding standards. As you play the course you can’t help but notice his influence, his personality, his drive for excellence, his touch … the touch of the Master.

Varying hole difficulty. Precise placement needed for GIR. Many elevation challenges. Great amount of OB for misplaced shots. Fun course. Needs attention to detail and shot planning.

Overall this is a nice course. @ $99 a round its a little too high. But the conditions are Excellent. Pro shop people wre very accomadating, but the Starter was nowhere too be found. I will return though, just gonna try to find a better deal.

Conditions are awful, an absolute embarrassment for Jack to have his name on this course. Tough course with tons of OB, mishit a drive and add 2 strokes. Greens were hard/firm, but slow and bumpy. Looked like they haven't been touched yet this season for maintainence. Certain holes memorable for being tough, but this was not a fun golf course to play. If driving a long distance to play a mountain layout, go to Patriot Hills.

Got a GolfNow deal for $45. I enjoyed the challenge of the holes and the Jack Nicklaus design. It is different than other mountain layouts in the area. While true, you have to it quality shots, the greens were large and yielded several one putts. Bunkers were well taken care of.
