315 Stewart Ave Garden City, NY 11530-2797, United States

This is a very private, men-only club on Long Island; women are not allowed in the clubhouse or on the course.
The course was originally designed by Devereaux Emmet, then later (1908) redesigned by Walter J. Travis, who was one of the most successful amateur golfers in U.S. history. Incidentally, Travis was the runner-up when GCGC hosted the 1902 U.S. Open. The major golf publications usually rank this in their top 100 courses in the world.
