The fairways in the height of summer were rockhard hay for completely deadpan lies. However, the teeboxes and green complexes were irrigated for holding shots and true role off the putter. While I enjoyed the course layout, the slope and hardness of the fairways easily allowed the ball to run into the brush. The course is an unskilled players dream with huge wide open expanses in which find a wayward shot (unless it rolled down a slope into the brush)and no rough to speak of. I am sure in the spring when the course was green, the playing conditions would have been a 100% improvement. The hilly location also allowed some nice views of the mountains in the distance. The most difficult hole was the par 3 eigthth, while down hill, had a narrow green. Anything long was death and anything short usually leaves a difficult downhill wedge shot.
