I refused to play Ladera several years ago,because of the course conditions see above comments. However, they have made MAJOR improvements in the Maintenance and course conditions. I have played it twice in two weeks, thoroughly enjoyed it and am looking forward to continued playing there. l

Great layout,bad maintenance! Wright,Eric,and crew are great,but they aren't maint. guys. If you can't hit from hard pan, don't play here. Tougest city course and no beer girl! Learned here and shoot in 70's! WESTSIDE!

Sdarcy is right...worst course in ABQ. The city has always done a poor job maintaining this course and the irrigation system is totally flawed. This fall they will close the course to finally make needed repairs...let's see how she looks next year.

Sadly the closest to my home and I assume Ladera means "bad joke" in Spanish. Worst course in the city. Great pro shop but the course is simply a joke. Untrained staff do not understand the basics of managing a course and city will not make needed changes.
