This 155-acre course was designed by William Flynn and Howard Toomey; the first nine holes opened in 1930, while the second nine debuted in 1931. The club hosts an annual pro-am that is regarded as the biggest single-day event on the PGA of America's Philadelphia Section calendar. They have also hosted U.S. Open qualifying and a variety of other tournaments.
In addition to a large practice range, at least two putting greens and a practice bunker, the club also has four practice holes and an indoor teaching facility.
While this is a private club, they *do* host outside events and group outings from time to time.

Great course, the greens are as tough as they come. Minus the traffic on a few holes easily on of south jersey's best...

course was in excellent condition. greens were smooth and fast. This is a shot makers course with an emphasis on accuracy. I would join this club in a minute just for the course itself!

Priced a bit too high for current conditions, but understand they are going through a transition period.

I was disappointed. The condition of this course with the price they ask is ridiculous. I only played because I got a discounted rate on GolfNow.com. It is not worth the full rate. It needs a lot of work.
