Preakness Hills Country Club

Wayne, NJ 07470-3384, United States

The private course debuted in 1927 with a design by architect William H. "Willie" Tucker, although the late Geoffrey S. Cornish and architecture partner Brian Silva oversaw the renovation of many bunkers and greens during the 1970s and 1980s. Then from 2005 to 2006, architect Ron Forse oversaw a restoration of the original Tucker design. Preakness Hills plays over moderately rolling terrain in Passaic County, about 20 miles from midtown Manhattan. Water is in play on seven holes.

This was an amazing country club. The course was awesome even with the US Open type of rough. The club hose was beautiful with some old character. The locker rooms are what you'd expect from a country club. The pool had a great layout, and a snack bar right there.
