With Coyote Moon, former PGA Tour player Brad Bell has designed an interesting (and challenging) course, which plays from 5,022 to 7,177 yards. Water is present on four holes, while plenty of sand punctuates the ample fairways and medium-size greens. The standard fee is $149, although sliding twilight rates and discounts for NCGA members are also available.

My favorite North Tahoe Course. Beautiful Scenery, wide variety of holes and difficulty, well maintained, greens are very challenging (like Scottish Courses). Lots of up close wildlife encounters (deer, coyotes etc)

Beautiful course. Some really fun elevated tees. The fairways and greens were in great shape. The rough is pretty thick so keep it in the fairway.

This is one of the 10 Best Golf Courses in all of Ca. for sure. this course has it all, the scenic value, lush fairways and greens, creative layout that will challenge even the best golfer , and a great staff. as you pull up to a great clubhouse you know that your in for a very special day. the staff is great and the food there is superb. the practice area and putting greens are huge, and the warm up area to hit balls is a bit small which is the only thing I thought needed to be bigger. the best thing is that no where on houses on the course or such. all you see is nature in all its beauty and hear the wind, its like a golf wonderland. the fairways are well groomed and and there's a great mix of water and creeks mixed in. the greens are perfect, smooth, fast, and true and the sand traps are even better. if your off the fairway past the rough you are in the trees and flowers for most part, this course demands good shot making and will reward the risk shot factor too. the views along the course are breath taking and don't forget to bring your camera too. the course too had a players asst who we saw twice out there, that makes sure you don't need anything and your having a great time. then theres the cart girls who have everything on there carts and are wonderful. at the finish you can either sit outside and relax with a great view or sit inside for some great food and drinks. the pro shop has a great selection of most everything you need mixed a few things you wish you had...lol I can't believe this course hasn't gotten a pro-am yet as it is well worthy of it, but it would need a better warm up area for sure. if you are in the Tahoe area and want to treat yourself to a course you will not soon forget, this is it. I have played many of the courses in the area and this is the one I keep coming back too. Coyote Moon Golf Course is a golfers gold mine in the Sierras and worth visiting for sure. Smilin Steve
