Picatinny Arsenal Golf Course is a long, fairly flat layout. We offer four sets of tees to accommodate golfers of all ability levels. The front nine is carved out of heavily wooded land and is very tight. Subtle doglegs on many of the par 4's and 5's force players to work their ball from side to side off of the tee. The back nine, a slight contrast to the traditional design of the front, opens up slightly to give players a little more breathing room. A stretch of three holes (12, 13, 14) challenge golfers in the way of an Amen Corner or Bear Trap. Picatinnys feature hole is the par 3 16th which can stretch to 235 yards from the back tees.

Unless you are in the military or a guest (I have been lucky enough to be a guest several times)you can't play here. Great course. Have had to wait for wild turkeys to get off a tee and for deer to get out of the fairway -- sorry I didn't have a camera with me. Nice change of pace. Some very interesting and challenging holes. The 18th requires some planning both for the tee shot and green.

what NJHokie said, except that you can get 10 rounds for $150. They used to only half stamp your card if you played 9 but now they just stamp right thru it, so it's 15 dollar rounds either way 9 or 18 if you can make it thru after 4pm.
Balls are easily lost in the 2nd cut or on the sides, lots of bugs, bunkers often infested with bees on certain holes. Holds water a bit too much. I guess you get what you pay for

Played at an outing. The course is not scenic at all. I guess it is a decent rate for military guys. But for us advid golfers I would not recommend it.
