A country club course on muni course pricing.

Great course at a great value!

one of the best courses for the price in NJ. Always in excellent condition and staff is great. Challenging course but not so hard that it's not fun.

Great layout. Good value for public golf. Would echo the comment about ball marks on green. With that said I will play the course again.

Nice course that offers something for everyone and the same for challenge. Do not really want to spray the ball or Fescue or Nature areas will get you, but if you keep the ball in play you can score.

only downside was shape of greens. Bery bumpy and enough unrepaired ball marks to make putting more challenging. In the spots not marked up greens were nice, fast and true. If people would just repair the marks and stop dragging their feet this course would have step up a notch... only other item would be the cart folks... dont seem to know to stop and let people hit before running up.. on a few occasions, foursome had to stop and wait for one to drive the whole.. only to have them stop and then start as someone was hitting...

Worth a round in any case.

Heron Glen is one of the best courses in central NJ for the value. Top notch staff, challenging - especially when the rough gets deep.

I have played all the top public golf courses all over North Jersey and this is definitely in my top 3. Fantastic, interesting layout and in great shape (aerating greens when I played but golf courses need to do that this time of year). Generous wide fairways, crisp bunkering which frame holes, tough but fair. The value is amazing for the quality. I am just disappointed I did not find this course sooner.
