The original 27-hole complex, incuding the River Course, was designed by Hal Purdy and opened in 1965. Purdy, once a construction supervisor for Robert Trent Jones, Sr., has designed many notable courses in the northeastern United States. The Club was expanded to 36 holes in 1989 with the addition of the Meadow Course by architect Brian Silva. The Forest Course was designed by architect Rees Jones and opened in 1994. The Lamington River bisects the property in several places.
