This course is advertised as the oldest in Reno and plays from 5,863 to 6,695 yards. It is owned and operated by the Washoe County Parts Department, so it is very much open to the public. It opened as a private club in 1936, but went public during the Great Depression.

i played recently with my regular group. being winter doesnt allow for too much exhuberance about the course. ws i better shape two weeks ago. i have always liked this course. you will not be disappointed in season.

I play this course one or two times per year in July/August. It seems to be in the worst condition I have seen. Greens are bumpy and fairways sparse. It gets played hard. Sad because I like the layout.
