Bunker Hills Golf Course
12800 Bunker Prairie Rd NW
Coon Rapids, MN 55448-1418, United States

763.755.4141
Bunker Hills is one of Minnesota's highest-profile golf courses; it was the original home of Minnesota's Champions Tour event (now known as the 3M Championship) and has hosted a long string of state amateur, PGA section, junior, and MSHSL championships.

The original 18 holes were designed by architect David Arthur Gill (father of architect Garrett Gill) in 1968, while the third nine debuted in 1989. Joel Goldstrand designed the executive course that opened in 1974. On the main 27 holes, a total of 75 bunkers are in play, with seven water hazards in play on ten holes. The new 37,000 square-foot clubhouse was completed in 2011 and houses a full golf shop, four simulators, a 410-capacity banquet center, and a family-friend grill & bar. The Minnesota section of the PGA of America is now headquartered here, having moved from Majestic Oaks GC in Ham Lake. Also here is the PGA/MGA Hall of Fame.

The course is owned and operated by the City of Coon Rapids, so it is very much open to the public.

Played on a pretty busy Saturday. They definitely know how to space groups, because we moved along nicely. Course is in very nice shape.

Just built a very nice, new clubhouse (wasn't open yet when I went) that should really add to the course.
