Challenging course, beautiful scenery, wide fairways. Great weather and the wind was low to moderate. Made for a great day of golf. Would play again.

Played wide open today, in 3 1/2 hours. Challenging course, wide open fairways and some tricky approaches. Overall, a beautiful day of golf.

The course was very dry. I enjoyed the layout but the overall conditions greens and fairways were very average.

Greens are in crappy condition right now. They will be plugging next weekend so it is moot at this point. Hopefully they heal well...

Chardonnay is definitely a pretty course with nice views of the surrounding hills. Even though the course meanders through vineyards, for the most part, the landing areas off the tee box are wide and forgiving. The approach shots aren't too menacing either, but the course defends itself with narrow and undulating greens. Up and downs are tough and 3 putts can abound. It's a tough walking course because the routing is a bit long between some holes with some significant hill climbs. I suspect 99% of the golfers that play here ride in carts, so as a walker, you'll get pushed and hurried.
