This very highly-regarded parkland-style course opened in 1952 with a design by Perry Maxwell; between 2006 and 2007, the course underwent a rebuild / restoration by architect Keith Foster, who has restored two other notable Maxwell designs.

Omaha CC hosted the 2013 USGA men's Senior Open, won by Kenny Perry and garnering the second-largest attendance in Senior Open history.
