Formerly known as Miller Park Golf Course, this 9-hole, par-3 facility hosts The First Tee of Omaha and is named in memory of the late Steve Hogan, who was Nebraska's first black/African-American PGA of America teaching professional; he died of cancer in 2008. His "Hogan's Junior Golf Heroes" program pre-dated The First Tee program by more than a half-decade, so the re-naming of this course is quite appropriate.
In addition to the course, SHGC also includes teaching facilities for kids where subjects include golf course layout and design, course maintenance and management, and club repair.
