Carmel Mountain Ranch Country Club
14050 Carmel Ridge Rd
San Diego, CA 92128-4307, United States

858.487.9224
This semi-private 6,400-yard course was designed by Ron Fream and has hosted U.S. Open qualifying, San Diego Open qualifying and many local events. Late in 2014, club owners began a partial renovation of the course that involves removing over 50 acres of irrigated turf, as a result of the ongoing drought in California.

This course is a real challenge. If you are looking for a nice golf course at an affordable price this is the place. The current price is around $40.

This course nneds to be played more than once to do it justice hidden hazards creeks and steep downhill fairways and if the distance between holes was any further you would have to have a licence plate on your cart nice course well maintained greens ok

Pace of play is the worst in the county. They run 6-minute tee times, which leads to 6-hour rounds. It's a shame, this used to be one of the nicest courses.
