This 9-hole course was formerly known as Deer Park Country Club and opened on July 27, 1968. The course is located east of the city on Highway 12, near the Niobrara River. Minnechaduza Creek is in play on several holes before it flows into the Niobrara. Of note here is the opening tee-shot, in which golfers hit from a 40-foot bluff and must clear a large sumac tree in order to find the fairway. Also worth your time is the picturesque par-3 8th hole.
