Established in 1956, the California Country Club features a championship golf course with a total yardage of 6,814. Its natural terrain and mature tree-lined fairways challenge the experienced golfer, while providing challenging enjoyment to the up-and-coming player.
The aesthetic beauty of our tree-lined fairways belies their maturity. The par 72 course was designed by William Bell who is probably best known for his design of Torrey Pines and Honolulu's Hawaii Kai.

Have played there about 6 times as a guest and in tournaments. It’s a long and challenging course, but very noisy due to the fact it’s next to the 605 freeway. If you don’t hit it straight you’re going to have a long day in the trees. Number 1, 10 and 18 are my favorite. The greens have always been in good shape, but for the rest of the course the maintenance is not what I would expect for a private club. It’s ok, but if I were going to join and private club, I wound not consider joining this one because of the maintenance. Each time I’ve been there everybody has been very nice and had a good time.
