Sunset Hills is a privately owned 18-hole public golf course founded in 1987 and located in the Sunset Hills district of Saint Louis. New ownership and management took over in August of 2011 and changed the course name, which was originally "Sunset Lakes." Then in 2012, a re-ordering of holes occurred, reflected in the latest mapped scorecard.
Rates vary by season; the summer rates (with cart) are $35 on weekdays, $45 on weekends and holidays. Memberships are also offered.

The greens are spongy and slow. They seem like they could be cut even though it has been hot and dry. They have done a good job of watering but there is not enough balance considering how dry it has been here. They seem like they could be green and healthy but not so saturated. The tee boxes are in good shape and the fairways are decent. We went through 9 holes in 1 hour and 40 minutes and then it took another 2 and a half hours to play the back nine. The price is commensurate with the course type and conditions.

New management..Great shape..a very good walking course. Better shape than say Mo. Bluffs! Good greens, all putt the same speed unlike many courses. I'm a senior, play everywhere and will play here much more often.
