  dwcoffin - 7/20/11
I just played this previous week 7/15/11. Greens fairways and teeboxes in good shape. It wasn't busy but the person who took my money didn't give me any information about how to proceed, and didn't offer a key. I walked out to carts loaded my bag and realized no key in cart. Went back in and was told my "partner" who also purchased online the same tee-time was waiting on teebox. I was a little late. It was very hot and I went back out, unloaded, and realized 1st tee box was close to 200 yards away, and there was no one down there with a cart that was by them selves. I went back in and he told me to walk down the to starters shack which is about 100 yards away. I went down there and no one was in it. There were a couple of guys standing around, and they suggested I go back up and get a cart. I was getting very frustrated and let them know it. They finally offered to go get me a cart and bring it down. I paid online to ride a cart, not walk back and forth between the starters shack and the pro shop for someone to finally figure out that my "partner" had left without me. Not the greatest hospitality for a first time visit, but will probably do better now that I get how they operate. Course was in good shape, but the track just didn't make me want to drive north from Lees Summit again anytime soon.
