Normandie Golf Club
7605 Saint Charles Rock Rd
Saint Louis, MO 63133-1319, United States

314.862.4884
Normandie Golf Club advertises as being the oldest public golf course west of the Mississippi River; this rolling parkland-style course opened in 1901 with a design by brothers James and Robert Foulis. Of note are the greens and tee-boxes, which are located on the tops of hills, knolls, and slopes, and are especially noticeable on the par-3s.

On January 20, 2015, the University of Missouri-Saint Louis announced that they had completed a $1.4 million purchase of the course. For the moment, UMSL insists that they will maintain the land as a golf course for the next decade. As a result, special rate packages will be created for UMSL students, faculty, alumni, and staff. Youth development programs and additional league play are also anticipated.

It took 5 hours to play on a Sunday morning. The price was ridiculous at $49. The bunkers were concrete, the range was closed, the greens were in awesome shape. This course could be a premier course if they keep working at it. Put some freaking sand in the bunker guys!!!!

This was an awesome natural golf course out of the tradition methods of building courses, enjoyed it throughly.
