Nice little course, you really need your short game. Scenery is beautiful and the course has many challenges.

played there last weekend twice for the 2nd time this yr.. theres a special on the web site that gets you a cart, lunch,beer,18holes for 2 players for 60.00.. at 30.00 to play this gem tucked back in the hills of bolder creek is a true deal.. it was hot like 95 in san jose and here was only like 80. the course is still very green for this late and has been kept up very well.. the pace of play here is really good only waiting to tee off a couple of times. the course rewards the straight shot. but temps you with driver or a longer shot than one might think.. if you only played the course with nothing more than a 5iron you could still score well as the driver holes on the par 5 are narrow. and if you should hit it OB you can usally forget finding it, its heavy woods and such.. getting a tee time was easy both times, and got on easily for a 2some and singles get on really easy. the dinning room is great and the free sandwich is good and it comes with a soda or a beer and the staff is very helpful. there is putting green to warm up on, but no driving range. other than that it is one of santa cruz's oldest golf courses and is a real gem in the hills to play.... no one I have ever taken here has been dissapointed...
