Links at Bodega Harbour
21301 Heron Dr
Bodega Bay, CA 94923-9401, United States

This very attractive Robert Trent Jones, Jr. design opened with nine holes in 1978; the second nine debuted in 1987. Then in 2008, a major renovation was undertaken, during which 96 bunkers were reconstructed and the greens were stripped of poa annua and replaced with bent grass. The seaside links design is entirely appropriate for the location, on the ocean coast in Sonoma County.

The standard rates (including cart) are $60 on Mondays through Thursdays, $70 on Fridays, then $90 on weekends and holidays. NCGA, VIP, junior, and military discounts are available.

A good course. Fun to play. Very windy when I played. Course has big elevation changes - the first several holes take you straight up hill, then quickly downhill with blind shots. It would take awhile to get used to the course, I think. The three finishing holes are fantastic!

Bodega Bay is a nice track. It's a tale of 2 nines. The front nine is classic Trent Jones Jr. with a ton of mounds all over the fairway. It's like Volkswagen Beetles are buried under there. I personally am not a fan of that signature. The houses that line the rough are definitely a distraction.

The back is where Bodega Bay shines. The houses don't suffocate the fairways and the views of the Bay are absolutely stunning. The mounds are gone on the back. Holes 14 through 17 are awesome and make the course special. 16 is particularly sweet and is one of the top 10 best holes in Nor Cal.
