Courses at Forest Park
6141 Lagoon Dr
Saint Louis, MO 63112-1000, United States

314.367.1337
This 27-hole public facility is owned by the City of Saint Louis, operated by Eagle Golf, and was built on the site of the 1904 Worlds Fair in Saint Louis' Forest Park. The noted Scottish architect Robert Foulis was the original architect; the first nine opened in 1912, the second in 1913, and the third in 1915.

Between 2001 and 2003, The Courses at Forest Park were completely redesigned and rebuilt, along with a new clubhouse. Hale Irwin's design firm did the work, chiefly principal architect Stan Gentry. The idea was to solve technical issues while restoring the original look and feel of the course, evident on the greens and the surrounding areas, as well as the bunkers.

As the courses are located in Forest Park, they are near the Saint Louis Zoo, the Science Center, and the Art Museum.

A beautiful inner city facility that is both fair in price and challange

Review is from the round we played in November. Course was in great shape, though the greens had a lot of sand. Normally pace of play is a little slow, but not on this day. Course was not busy, so we were able to get our round done in less than 4 hours. We paid the winter rate of $26 which is a great value.
