The Country Club at The Legends is a truly unique offering, presenting spectacular golf adjoining the bluffs off The Meramec River Valley. Nowhere else in St. Louis can members take pleasure in a 27-hole course, designed by the legendary golf architect, Robert Trent Jones, Sr., and then surrender to the comforts of our 36,000 sq. ft. colonial clubhouse.

More than a quarter century ago, famed golf course designer, Robert Trent Jones, Sr. was in the St. Louis area to design a course for Old Warson Country Club. He traveled to view a piece of land in the outlying town of Eureka where in his words, "nature seemed to have outdone itself." This land, located in southwest St. Louis County, just 12 minutes from the intersection of Highways 270 and 44 is now known as The Legends.

The courses at The Legends are a testimony to Mr. Jones' philosophy that "every hole should be a hard par and an easy bogey." The primary course of the golf club, The Great Course, is an exciting 18-hole test, designed to challenge the experienced golfer, while accommodating the average golfer.

The Country Club course measures over 10,400 yards from the back tees and features Zoysia grass on the fairways and Penncross Bentgrass on the tees and greens. The United States Golf Association once awarded The Legends Missouri's highest slope rating.

The golf course is enhanced by over 25 acres of lakes, tree-lined fairways, meandering streams, and well trapped greens.
