Swan Point Yacht & Country Club is like no other course in the Washington, D.C., area. When you arrive at our course located in southern Maryland on the banks of the Potomac River, you are going to feel as if you have been transported to the barrier islands of the Carolinas - Kiawah and Hilton Head.
The unusual terrain with water and marshlands reminds you of other places, but also because our tranquil setting will carry you away from the rest of the world - the noise, the congestion, the demands on your time. Our 18 holes, designed by award winning golf course architect Bob Cupp make for a breathtaking round of golf. Each hole with its unique character and elements will challenge you with a different experience every time you play.

Very interesting layout - short holes, challenging par 5s, and (for the most part) well thought out greens. The views are great with marsh, woods and some water. This time of year the course was in mediocre shape - it doesn't drain as well as it should. Not too expensive and we had the course to ourselves.

This course was in miserable shape, even considering it is early in the year. It was absolutely impossible to tell the difference between the fairway, the rough, and the patch of dirt in my backyard that my dog has dug up. Truly a shame, because this course sits on a beautiful piece of property along the river and could be quite a gem. The design was not great, too many blind shots and really unfair layouts even for an avid golfer. Definitely not worth the 90 minute drive from the Annapolis area to play.
