This very attractive seaside course debuted in 1922 with a design by Frederick C. Hood, although William S. Flynn is also given architecture credit. Kittansett has been included in the various lists of top 100 United States courses for many years. It is located at the end of Butler Point, which extends several miles into Buzzards Bay.

Kittansett is a private club; visitors are permitted only as guests of members.
