Glenn Dale Country Club
11501 Old Prospect Hill Rd
Glenn Dale, MD 20769-9427, United States

301.262.1166
This course was originally a George Cobb design that opened in 1958 as Prospect Hill Country Club. The Shields family later bought the course and have since modified Cobb's design to include more trees and bunkers, along with different tee-boxes. While this is a shorter-than-normal course, it is challenging enough that they have hosted U.S. Open and Mid-Amateur qualifying here, along with MAPGA and junior tournaments.

The peak walking rates are $30 weekdays and $59 weekends; carts are $32. Members, seniors, and juniors receive varying discounts, as do Prince Georges County police and fire personnel, and military members.

This course has updated information like phone, address, description or scorecard and is pending approval. These changes must be approved before they will be available on a SkyCaddie.

Price was a little expensive but course was in good shape.

Nice fast greens.

Played a few months ago but they were backed up really bad so they gave us a card for a discounted round to use whenever we wanted. The greens were pretty fast but the course was in great condition. The Marshall kind of got on our nerves because he acted as if he was keeping an eye on our group only but we had to wait for the group in front of us but eventually he figured it out so it was all good after that. Great course for the money.

I truly enjoyed playing at Glenn Dale. Very good condition all around and a great value.

Course is in excellent condition, even in this hot weather. Fairways and greens are very well maintained. Keep approach shots below the hole to give yourself a chance.

Course is always in good shape; fairways and greens. A lot of drainage improvement in low-lying areas like #11. I use a lot of clubs in my bag.

One of the best challenges in the area. Greens will make you appreciate the pressure putts that the pros make look routine.
