Andrews Air Force Base has three courses: The East Course (1956) and the West Course (1961) were designed by Frank Murray and Russell Roberts, while Brian Ault oversaw the South Course in 1998. The club also hosts tournament operations and large-scale food and beverage events, while also offering a golf shop, practice facilities, and an up-to-date fitness center.
Since these courses are on an active military installation, players must have DoD-issued ID in order to access the course.

The greens are great and rolls nicely. The fairways are a different story...just terrible. The golf carts are not very well maintained....ratty and dirty. I'm a bit surprised to see an Air Base course so unkempt. Maybe it's due to the abnormal winter. All in all, it's a great value.

Great place to play except when the president shows up.

How can you beat three 18 hole courses, except maybe with Pinehurst. We call it the Poor golfer's CC, but it can get confusing when the President shows up to play and takes over a course!!

Andrews courses are probably the best I have played on a military installation. The courses are all maintained well. The west course can be a little tricky to find your ball during the fall when the leaves are falling. If you stay in the fairway no big deal. The South course is absolutely magnificent. it is a must play.
