When this course was first built it was absolutely one of the finest courses in the area. After years of ownership by the city it has fallen to the throws of budget cuts, lack of money and really lack of care in general. The course it's self is long. Best played from a forward teebox, but I know guys we all want to measure our di--s and think we are much better than we are and play from the blue. Let me just say good luck best be in the short grass if you think you have a chance at a birdie. The greens are in pretty good condition fairways usually cut well. The obviously things are the condition of the little things. On the back nine use to be a nice lake/pond but for some reason it isn't there any longer just a trash pit and over growth. The neighborhood surrounding the course has begun to run down but usually there are no problems of safety....SPAR take some time and money and put into your course....you do Querbes why not Huntington. Overall at 30.00 twilight fee is way to much for the condition of the course. It is long and difficult but can be played...
