Though in a parkland setting, Valhalla's first nine holes present a links-style appearance, with wide fairways and sculpted mounding. The bent-grass greens are surrounded by collars of thick Kentucky bluegrass, with plenty of water, grassy hollows, and sand also in play. This Jack Nicklaus design is now owned by the PGA of America and will host the PGA Championship in 2014.
