Arthur Hills designed this course, which opened in 1982. Tallgrass CC is a private country club, although they will host outside golf outings and tournaments with prior arrangement. Among the important tournaments they have hosted are the Kansas State Amateur, the Kansas State Senior Amateur, and the Colbert/Fogler Classic.
