Designed by Jody Kinney of Dublin, Ohio, this course opened in May of 1997 on 250 acres of land in Breckinridge County. Bermuda fairways and bent-grass greens are surrounded by Kentucky bluegrass rough. Lafayette was awarded the #2 ranking in Golf Digest's "Best in State" rankings for 2007-2008 in Kentucky.

The absolute worst course I have ever played, Greens were horrible, fairways and tee Boxes were not mowed, Do not waste your money until they attempt to get the course playable.

Grens were lost due to heat and humidity. Fairways were descent. Course had several holes redesgined that sky caddy did not have current updates.
