This military course is located on Fort Knox, but is open for public play. It opened in 1933 and was named after U.S. Army Major General Julian R. Lindsey, who was instrumental in its layout and design. Lindsey GC has a pretty good pedigree; it hosted the 1943 Kentucky State Open, which was won by Byron Nelson.
Having undergone a recent renovation, Lindsey now has new sand bunkers, rebuilt tee boxes, 240 new trees, and a new club house.
The civilian walking rate is $23 all week.
