This course opened in 1922 as Irvington Country Club, a name that some of the local old-timers still use, in fact. :)
Over the years, the course has hosted statewide pro-ams, several Indianapolis Men's City Amateurs, Indianapolis Junior City Amateurs, and the IGA Public Links Championship. On June 3, 2006, PRGC hosted the 52nd annual East-Side Amateur.

I went in with somewhat low expectations, only seeing the relatively low yardage on the scorecard, but was impressed with the course. It is well maintained and challenging for its short distance.

A classic Indy muni course built in the late 1920's. It has more blind shots and golfers struck by errant balls than any other course in Indy, but that is just part of this classics charm!
