This course opened in 1972 as "Rochester City Course" with nine holes designed by Tom Zimmerman. Even after the local high school golf team won a state championship in 1980, construction of the second nine was actually controversial for some people. Thankfully, those nine holes debuted in 1992, by which time the name changed to "Mill Creek Golf Course." In 2005, the clubhouse moved to a renovated circular barn, hence the new name of the course, which is adjacent to the Rochester CBD.

Standard walking rates are $11 for 9 holes and $18 for 18 holes. Season passes are available.
