Designed by noted Michigan golf architect Jerry Matthews, the course focuses on the natural – using the contours and beauty of the old farm land to suggest the placement of the holes and the flow of the course. Northport Creek’s owners have taken Matthew’s focus on the natural even further with the addition of solar to power the golf carts and the course irrigation, making Northport Creek the first solar powered golf course in the country!
