Golfklúbbur Þorlákshafnar ("Thorlakshofn Golf Course") is a true seaside links course located about 51 km from Iceland's capital city in Þorlákshöfn ("Thorlakshofn"). The course was built in part to mitigate sand run-off and to provide the town's 1,500 residents with a recreational facility. A new clubhouse was completed in 2003 and includes a golf shop.
