This visually stunning prairie dunes course was designed by architect Jim Engh and is located just outside Kearney, in the southern sand hills of Nebraska. Quoted on the course web site, Engh said, "there will be no disturbance to the existing grasses and vegetation. Basically, the quirks in the land, that are impossible to create, will be preserved.” Indeed, less than 30,000 cubic yards of earth were moved to build this gorgeous course, which contains many wind-driven blowout bunkers lined with native grasses.

While this is a private club with membership only by invitation, limited play and lodging packages are available to the public through the club's web site.
