Played the East course on a weekday and played very quickly. Scenery was great, course was very tight, and staff helpful. Would recommend to all skills of players.

layout of course is great; very tight par 4's & 5's; condition of course could use some work; but as with some course you know you've earned your score if you get a good one. Good to play a couple times a year to see how accurate your game is.

Played on 7/1/10. Had a 2:40 teetime. Myself (12 handicap) and my playing partner (8 handicap) were grouped with another twosome with a good golfer and a newbie. We separated from them after 3 holes but were caught by a single (a very nice guy). We played as a threesome and were stuck behind an extremely slow foursome. The ranger seemed to have warned them at one point, but the short speedup in play didn't last long. After #9, my wife surprised me on the turn and the ranger was kind enough to give us an extra gas cart so that we could enjoy the rest of the round together. Great hospitality there. Friendly rangers all day long. $35 was an excellent value. Course was in good shape. Greens were super slow. Was leaving them short all day. Teebox on #18 was illegal placed too far back with only one club length from the back of the teebox to the tees. Overall 3 stars. A good course.
