The Woodlands Country Club

The Woodlands, TX 77380-1360, United States

281.882.3000
Both the West and North are part of the Club Corp network of private clubs.

WEst: This course plays to 7,044 yards from the tips and features tall, mature oak trees, large greens averaging over 4,500 square-feet, large green-side bunkers, and generous fairways. Joe Lee and Robert von Hagge did the original design that opened in 1975, but Jay Morrish oversaw a major redesign that debuted in 1999.

North: As with the West Course, Joe Lee and Robert von Hagge did the original design although Roy Case (of Arnold Palmer's design firm) oversaw a complete renovation that opened in 2002. The Bermuda fairways here are framed by walker on several holes and native wildflowers. The North Course was recently ranked among the top five courses in the Houston area.

The Oaks is better maintained. Staff is much more friendly at Lake Windcrest.

Really nice layout. Back 9 plays about 5 strokes harder than the front 9.

A really nice course. Kept up well, even with the drought in Houston.
