Played this side of the facility the week before the Valero Open on the other side. The restrictions for the upcoming tournament weren't too bad. However, not sure they pay too much attention to this side when preparing for the tournament. For instance, the bunker sand was not good in a lot of places. Packed. Not what you would expect for $200.

Stay out of the 'deep' bunkers. Played The Oaks on Tues 18 Jul 19 in tournament in light breeze and 80's F. Best conditions of the half-dozen times I've played this course over the last decade.

Greens were dry and hard having been recently verticut. For a first time on the course, it was a bit intimidating; however, that diminished as the day went along.
