This parkland-style course opened in 1894 with nine holes, while the second nine opened in 1975. In 2005, the course was completely renovated by Mel Flanagan of Irish Golf Design, a firm based in County Longford. The newest feature at this semi-private club is a covered practice range. The standard visitor rates are €20 weekdays and €25 weekends and bank holidays. Societies are also welcome with advance arrangement.
